Renovation and bespoke extension of a Victorian terraced house in New Cross, London. The existing house was dark and had been stripped of its original character.
A simple palette of materials created a calm and inviting home. The ‘exposed aggregate’ polished concrete floor provides warmth and contrast to the large dark-stained timber doors and laminated plywood cabinetry. The long shelves provide a visual link between the ground floor spaces.
